Danny Carlson, Founder of ATlanta Tennis Inc., ATI Tennis Academy and the Seerve and Return Foundation
A lifelong contributor to the Atlanta tennis community, Atlanta Tennis Inc. (ATi Tennis Academy), Danny Carlson has been developing distinguished tennis players for over 35 years. Several students held top 500 ATP and WTA rankings and over 100 others earned college tennis scholarships. ATi Tennis Academy averaged a yearly enrollment of over 100 students from 2010 to 2019. In 2020 Danny retired the advance junior tennis academy and started playing the senior men’s doubles circuit. As a results, in 2021 he was ranked No. 1 nationally in the 65s in mens doubles. In 2022 he committed to singles and finished the year ranked #1 nationally in his age group for singles, doubles, and mixed doubles as well as top 10 in the world in all three categories. During 2022, Danny won 3 gold balls, a silver ball, and a gold and bronze medal from the highest level national and world tournaments.
Danny has currently changed his focus to giving back through the Serve and Return Foundation Inc (501 c3) who's mission is: To SERVE communities, and RETURN service to promote the game of tennis. Additionally, they strive to improve the quality of life for all ages and vulnerable groups, such as children and seniors.
Danny and his wife, Kathy have been married over 46 years, have two sons, Chad and Todd who have added four grandchildren to the family. They enjoy spending a lot of free time with the grandkids.
